Raptor Medicines is a Venture Capital backed biotech therapeutics company with offices in Boulder and Boston. The company is engaged in preclinical R&D programs focused on new cutting edge medicines for diseases of the Kidney at our Boulder site. The Company is seeking Research Associates and Scientists with experience in the following laboratory techniques.
· Mammalian cell culture
o Maintenance, passaging, cryopreservation, etc.
o Fluorescence microscopy (staining various organelles.) and flow cytometry (Immunoassays)
o Gene expression assays and analysis
· RT-qPCR (taqman assays or similar)
· Analysis and purification of DNA and RNA (gel electrophoresis, HPLC, etc.)
· Analysis and purification of Proteins (gel electrophoresis and staining techniques)
· Bio-conjugation chemistries for proteins, DNA and RNA.
· Immunoassays (Elisa, western blots)
· Mass Spectrometry (Analysis of RNA or proteins) a plus
The desired candidate will have a BS or MS degree with 3 to 7 years experience in the research laboratory with a proven track record of success. Recent Ph.D. graduates with 0 – 2 years experience are also encouraged to apply. Success can be demonstrated by publications, patents, or products.
