Position Summary:   We are seeking an MRO inventory maintenance and calibration planner level 1 to join our team and support the maintenance of manufacturing equipment at our biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. In this role, you will utilize a computerized maintenance management system to forecast, schedule, and document calibration and maintenance activities. An important component in accurately documenting these activities is having the ability to specify parts needed to support planned preventive maintenance and calibration activities, as well as document capture parts and materials used for unplanned corrective work. Inventory for parts and materials stocked on site is managed through the MRO program. This position will strive to continually improve our maintenance and calibration program through developing our MRO program and thoroughly integrating it into our CMMS. This position would also involve integrating CMMS into SAP. This position would work with the maintenance technicians and the Facilities Engineering group to properly install any critical parts into the operation or utility systems and understand their function and viability on the plant.

Responsibilities:

• MRO Inventory Management -50%
  • Parts accuracy
  • Cycle counting and cycle management
  • Vendor requests
  • Build out of MRO database in Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Management Database (CMMS).
  • Work with KBI Engineering staff to build engineering asset Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Partner with the KBI engineering and maintenance team on management of critical spare parts
  • Asset BOM build out
  • Build out of MRO database
  • Integrate new materials within CMMS
  • Assist with the conversion of CMMS to SAP
• Maintenance Planner – 30%
  • Expand existing work plans to include material part numbers and potentially lot traceability
  • Plan work events in CMMS
  • Execute work order closures
  • Asset induction
  • Vendor management
  • Assisting of work order review and closure.
• Maintenance Assistant – 20%
  • Assist FM and FE with the project improvements and equipment installations
  • Management of Pipettes calibration and maintenance activities
  • Management of pest control for the site to include escorting of vendors, generation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Occasionally assisting with the monthly maintenance utility walks
  • Vendor management of routine outside vendors to include procuring quotes, managing purchase requisitions, scheduling, escorting, and closing out work orders

Requirements:

• Education:   High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in mechanical or electrical systems are a plus.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a biopharmaceutical or similar regulated environment.
• Skills and Knowledge:
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of cGMP standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Inventory management, work order kitting, part pick up/delivery
  • Knowledgeable in Blue Mountain CMMS is desired
  • Knowledgeable in SAP is desired
  • Knowledge of ETQ is desired
• Communication and Teamwork:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as emails, supplier quotes, purchase orders, and SOPs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail:
  • Meticulous attention to accuracy in documentation processes.

Note: This is a full-time, onsite position and is not hybrid or remote. This position would be Monday – Friday 0700 – 1700 hours daily with every other Friday off.

Salary Range:  $26.44 - $36.49 per hour.
Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
